THE "JULIAZO". IN JULY 1997 THE SPANISH GOVERNMENT ORGANISED AGAINST THE BASQUE LEFT NATIONALIST MOVEMENT THE BIGGEST FASCIST MOBILISATION KNOWN IN EUROPE SINCE THE EXTINCTION OF NAZI GERMANY.

JUBILANT POSTSCRIPT:

It is truth that nature copies art. A relative of mine, fortunately hypercritical, reproched me that, at the end of the JULIAZO (expressed by the senstence "El JULIAZO has been a strike. But a failed strike"), he found the sentence too willingly optimistic. Well, when we were arranging the last details of the HTML edition of the JULIAZO we got a bless message by e-mail: there are already five (FIVE!!) mirrors of EUSKAL HERRIA JOURNAL in the net.

The Spanish fascists, shepherd by their fascist Minister of the Interior, don´t know Internet, or the internavigators, or how precious freedom of speech is to those who navigate through the net. Their fascist mailbombing got the Pyrrhic success of making IGC take EUSKAL HERRIA JOUNAL out of their server, to be able to keep giving their vital service to the 13.000 subscribers they have. But the upholders of freedom of speech throughout the world (and the net) have counterattacked and nullified that fascist success. These are the five mirrors where EUSKAL HERRIA JOURNAL tells again the truth about the conflict, about the "low intensity war" that Spain does to the Basque Country:

As Asterix would say: "These fascists are crazy!". They didn’t want a EUSKAL HERRIA JOURNAL and now they have five. And besides, thanks to their silly and fascist action, it’s been publicized all over the planet. Isn’t it "a failed strike?".
